Why am I asked to submit a Gift Aid declaration?

Gift Aid is a government scheme, which allows registered charities to reclaim the tax paid on donations by UK donors. This effectively increases the donation amount by 25% at no cost to the donor. We collect Gift Aid declarations in order to maximise the donation benefit for our charity partners.
